The menace threatening the Digital World now is Omnimon Alter-B, the digi-evolution of Omnimon. And he means business, with the Grey Cannon and Garuru Sword in either hand, he could very well be on his way to destroy the Digital World. Unless, of course, players can stop him.

The three new digimon introduced are Justimon, Dianamon and Minervamon. It is not mentioned what level these digimon are, but we can be sure they’re strong enough to help players prevent the destruction of Digital World.

Aside from that, Mirei Mikagura and Rina Shinomiya from Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth also come to help the players. Mirei wants to investigate the cause of the disaster depicted in the trailer, while Rina is currently lost in the Digital World with her partner, Veevee.

What’s more, new facilities are introduced that will make players’ adventures more survivable. The first what is called a Transfer Shop, which will shorten the time it takes to go to far away fields, while the second new facility is a Safe-Keeping shop where players can keep items they don’t immediately need when looking to open up inventory space. Finally, the third new facility introduced in Digimon World: Next Order is a Digivolution Dojo, where players can train their digimon to become stronger!

Digimon World: Next Order will see a western release on January 27, 2017 on Playstation 4, both digitally and physically.
