The Dell Ultrasharp Webcam will offer “best in class” image quality in its class of 4K webcams, according to Dell. It achieves this by taking inspiration from DSLR cameras, using a large 4K Sony STARVIS CMOS sensor and multi-element lens to capture more light, giving you better video quality. It’s also rocking something called digital overlap HDR, which combines different exposure conditions for better color accuracy, even in bright shots. There are also some fancy smart features to help make sure your shot is framed just right. The auto-framing feature uses smart AI tech to keep you in focus and centered when you’re in front of the camera. You can also customize your field of view with options for 65°, 78°, and 90° with 5x digital zoom options, so you can center on your beautiful face or zoom out when the whole family wants in on the call. The smart tech doesn’t stop there either, as it’s also integrated with security features like Windows Hello, meaning you can sign into your devices using facial recognition and proximity sensors on the camera. The Dell Ultrasharp Webcam certainly looks the part, with a sleek, cylindrical design and matte black finish - it looks like a professional bit of kit. The mounting system continues that premium theme with a magnetic mount and tripod adapter, which means the Dell Ultrasharp Webcam will be easy to rig up for recording videos or streaming on Twitch, in addition to being excellent for Zoom conference calls and meetings. The Dell Ultrasharp Webcam will be launching worldwide on June 29, with an MSRP of $199.99.
